8th December 2017: 150 Years of The Civil Servants Joint Stock Fund (MTPY)

Two stamps depicting the building of MTPY in Lykourgou Str. & Aiolou (€0,72) and the founder of the Fund, Dimitrios N. Levidis (€2,50), printed in sheets of 25 stamps. The MTPY is a decentralised public service and operates as a Special State Fund, in which all Greek civil servants hold obligatory shares. The purpose of the fund is to pay a dividend to its shareholders and their families, relative to the size of their deposits, in a manner which is fair and ensures its long-term viability.

24th November 2017: The Sanctuary of Amarynthia Artemis

One stamp with a value of € 1,00 depicting a coin with the head of Artemis, printed in sheetlets of 25 stamps and sheetlets with one stamp each. The Sanctuary is being excavated since 2007 and situated on Euboea.

16th November 2017: Figures from Greek Philately

Six stamps depicting “Alexandros Argyropoulos (1883 – 1962)” (€0,05), “Charilis Binos (1909 – 1978)” (€ 0,20), “Moses Konstantinis” (€0,72), “Georgios Papastephanou -  Provatakis (1890 – 1978)” (€0,90), “Stephanos Makrymichalos (1902 – 1983)” (€1,50) and “Nikolaos Atzaritis (1900 – 1976)” (€2,50), printed in sheetlets of 25 stamps.

2017 - 9

11th October 2017: The battle for the Power Plant

Two stamps remembering the defenders of the Athens-Piraeus Electric Company's plant in Keratsini. On October 13th, 1944, they prevented its destruction from the occupying troops that were fleeing the country. The stamps depict the remembrance monument by Christo Kaprala from 1948  (€0,50) and an engraving by Thomas Molou (€1,00) and were printed in sheetlets of 25 stamps.

Seven stamps depicting “Chilon of Sparta” (€0,05), “Cleobulus of Lindos” (€ 0,10), “Periander of Corinth” (€0,20), “Pittacus of Mytilene” (€0,50), “Solon of Athens” (€0,80),  “Thales of Miletus” (€1,00) and “Bias of Priene” (€2,00), printed in sheetlets of 25 stamps.

27th June 2017: Euromed 2017 - Trees from the Mediterranean Area

A stamps with a value of €2,62, depicting a Mastic Tree from the island of Chios. The stamps were printed in sheets of 8 stamps.

18th May 2017: Europe 2017 - Castles

Two stamps, depicting the Palamidi Castle of Nafplion (€0,90) and the Castle of Methoni (€3,40). A small part of the stamps was printed se-tenant in sheets of 16, the rest as individual stamps in sheetlets of 8 stamps.

11th May 2017: 80 Years of the Apostoliki Diakonia of the Church of Greece

A stamp of €0,72 depicting the logo of the Apostoliki Diakonia and a sheetlet with a stamp of €2,00 depicting Saint Helen, issued on the occasion of the 80th Anniversary of the Apostoliki Diakonia. The stamp with a value of €0,72 was printed in sheets of 25 stamps.

24th April 2017: Conference of the Ancient Civilizations Forum in Athens

A sheetlet with a stamp of €2,00, issued on the occasion of the conference of the Ancient Civilizations Forum in Athens. Participating countries are, next to Greece, China, Bolivia, Egypt, India, Iraq, Iran, Italy, Mexico and Peru. The aim of the Forum is to improve the promotion of the culture of the Ancient Civilizations of the countries involved.
